Partnerships
I conduct my research in close collaboration with public agencies, colleges and universities, and nonprofit organizations. Current partners include:
State systems and public colleges and universities. My work with the Virginia Community College System, the Tennessee Board of Regents, Calbright College, and the University of Hawaiʻi Community Colleges focuses on identifying the policies and supports that help students earn credentials and advance economically.
College advising organizations. With Bottom Line, College Possible, Matriculate, and CollegePoint, I evaluate how intensive advising shapes degree attainment and, over the long run, earnings and broader life outcomes.
Workforce training programs. I study innovative training models, including Virginia FastForward, Merit America, and Coop Careers, to identify what works to improve economic outcomes for working adults.
Additional partners appear in the papers and grants listed in my CV.
